Using InDesign, create a 4-page newsletter. Choose a subject that you can locate supporting material. This should include text and photos as well as a logo. Create 3 sets layout sketches before you begin.

I chose Adventure Time as my topic of my newsletter because its my favorite animated show and I have never seen any form of newsletter or booklet pertaining to adventure time. Sketching the layout was fun and showed me how many options I had. I knew before beginning I wanted the facing pages to have an over lapping layout and I also wanted to make it more of a fan mail.

Although the process for creating this newsletter was tedious and sometimes difficult, I enjoyed being able to pick my topic, design a fun layout, and utilize funky elements to create an interesting newsletter. I learned how to create tiffs and use them to prevent indesign from creating boxes around any elements I used with a transparent background.
